Amreen Bashir

Amreen Bashir is an education and development professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from McGill University and a Master’s in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on educational innovation and social impact. As co-founder of WISH (Wellbeing in Schools and Higher Education), she has pioneered efforts to integrate mental health and social-emotional learning into the educational systems of Bangladesh. Amreen also leads the Mubarak Ali Foundation, where she is committed to preserving Bangladesh’s economic history through the creation of business case studies, and to promoting Bangladeshi and diaspora artists on an international stage. Amreen returned to Bangladesh to harness the power of diaspora expertise in fostering sustainable development and advancing growth together with national talent.
